Check the status of your letter or parcel by the tracking number. If there is no information on delivery status or there have not been any updates for a long time, your letter or parcel is not delivered. To initiate the search, you need to submit the following documents to any Russian Post office:
- request to search for mail within Russia or international mail
- receipt issued with the mail or its copy (the receipt is issued at the moment of sending)
- identity document
Search requests are accepted for six months from the date of sending.
The requests can be submitted by both the addressee and the sender or an authorized person of one of them (on submission of power of attorney).
The sender has the priority right for compensation. Also, he/she has the right to refuse compensation in favor of the addressee.
The Russian Post will inform you on the search results by a registered letter to the address specified in the claim application within 60 calendar days from the date of application submission.
If the mail is not found, the compensation is paid. The sender can transfer his/her right to compensation to the addressee or other authorized person.
